This X4 variant gets a new 3.0 liter turbocharged inline 6 that bumps power output from the standard model by 55 hp with some trick valve controlling, and exhaust tuning. That's good for 355 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque and 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds.

Sport-tuned suspension, and some steering tricks to provide better feedback to the driver are also part of the M package. 19 or 20 inch alloy wheels are also available.

The 8-speed auto is recalibrated, and is biased towards the rears.

Interior upgrades include a special leather steering wheel, gear shift lever, sports seats, and M badging on the door sills and instrument cluster.

Exterior modifications are slight, being only Ferric Gray accents on the mirrors and front along with black chrome exhaust tips.
