2010 Vaccar Fusion Sport

Vaccar's original concept vehicle that catapulted their continued collaborations with Ford project vehicles. The 2010 year model was the first for this Ford Fusion and Fusion Sport body style, and required many custom prototype products to be made - some aftermarket parts would go onto production for consumers, while other aspects of the build were meant as one-off show pieces. 2010 Vaccar Fusion Sport - Trunk

Vaccar wanted to create a functional, yet highly customized and impressive trunk space. They made use of a full-size Nutek Forged Wheels spare, as well as complete accommodations for a trunk-load of sound-quality MB Quart products and the components to handle the Air Lift Performance air suspension - all while maintaining useable trunk space.

Vaccar worked closely with Turbo XS to built a complete bolt-on single turbo kit to mate with the Fusion Sports 3.5L V6 engine. This model platform is also all-wheel-drive.

Vaccar used an extensive amount of customization within the interior, mostly to house the lineup of MB Quart sound quality audio products. The Auto Meter gauges are housed in a Vaccar-made dash triple-gauge pod. The seats are one-off Vaccar race bucket prototypes, upholstered to match the OEM leather.

Vaccar used Air Lift Performance components to prototype their own bolt-on air suspension system, complete with dampening control. The Ksport big brake kit was also prototyped by Vaccar. Nutek Wheels built the 3-piece wheels specifically to Vaccar's spec's, then wrapped them in Continental Tire rubber.

Vaccar used a BASF Chip Foose series of paint to create the color scheme. The center section is Vaccar's own "brushed aluminum" technique.
