The Fabtech Strut Spacer Kit
The way this kit works is it’s a strut spacer which means you will remove the factory McPherson strut and you’ll place the strut spacers on top of each shock front and rear in combination with the corresponding spring preload collars and that’s going to effectively raise the ride height of the vehicle. What this means is that there will be no substantial change to the feel of the suspension on your Bronco so if you like the way it rides now and you’re happy with it then that’s perfectly fine. This type of kit will not stand up to some of the most punishing off-road environments, but for most people, this is going to do the trick.

The Upper Control Arms
Since you are raising the ride height by 4 inches, you’re going to push past the limit of the OEM upper control arm and that could cause some damage down the road or premature tire wear â problems you don’t want. To eliminate these issues, this kit also includes Fabtech’s replacement upper control arm which adjusts the geometry of the vehicle for that additional four inches of ride height and it’s also going to grant additional wheel travel actually enhancing the performance of the suspension off-road. These upper control arms are made out of extremely durable 4130 Chromoly steel tubing that is 1.25 inches in outer diameter making it very tough. It also features their one-inch PTFE lined uniball which is what’s going to operate at those extreme ranges of motion to give that additional wheel travel and of course is also extremely tough. The machined aluminum dust cap is going to keep that uniball nice and clean and give a very sharp finish because you will see that behind the tire in the wheel well.
The kit includes all of the necessary mounting hardware and some nice CNC machined steel components where necessary as well as their polyurethane bushings which are going to increase the quality of the ride and give you more feedback from the trail as well as lasting the life of the vehicle.
The Track Bar Relocation Bracket
Lastly, the kit includes a heavy-duty track bar relocation bracket which is going to help re-center the rear axle under the vehicle and make sure that the vehicle is tracking properly which is very important after you’ve changed the suspension geometry â you don’t want to start wearing through tires or tracking strange. They also double powder coat finish this bracket as well as all of the other main components with a nice gloss black finish to be tough and stand up to the punishment you’re going to put it through.
