The Edelbrock Stage 1 Street Supercharger system part #1554 for 2016-18 Mazda MX-5 Miata increases the performance of your SKYACTIV -G 2.0L engine to 198 RWHP and 182 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels. Its unique design utilizes the Eaton R900 TVS rotor assembly for maximum efficiency in a compact package. An air-to-water intercooler and front mount heat exchanger deliver a cool, dense air charge resulting in dramatically improved performance with a smooth and linear power curve. The supercharger assembly is finished with a durable black powder coating that integrates seamlessly into the Miata engine bay. For safety, the Edelbrock-supplied program will retain the factory vehicle speed limiter setting. Increases horsepower by 41% and torque by 36% over stock. It's fully automated and programmable to simulate various driving situations, and is equipped with WinDyn software for the very latest in testing equipment. For real-world tuning, there's our Super Flow model SF-840 eddy-current chassis dyno that can handle up to 1,000 hp at the wheels and speeds of 200 mph. When all testing is completed, the results evaluated, and the part has passed all performance criteria, then, and only then, is the product deemed ready for production. These precise testing procedures are applied to the entire Edelbrock line for performance that's guaranteed.
