The Edelbrock Stage 1 Street Supercharger system part #1554 for 2016-18 Mazda MX-5 Miata increases the performance of your SKYACTIV -G 2.0L engine to 198 RWHP and 182 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels. Its unique design utilizes the Eaton R900 TVS rotor assembly for maximum efficiency in a compact package. An air-to-water intercooler and front mount heat exchanger deliver a cool, dense air charge resulting in dramatically improved performance with a smooth and linear power curve. The supercharger assembly is finished with a durable black powder coating that integrates seamlessly into the Miata engine bay. For safety, the Edelbrock-supplied program will retain the factory vehicle speed limiter setting. Increases horsepower by 41% and torque by 36% over stock. Unique compact design fits under the stock hood. Supplied with preformed hoses for ease of installation - no trimming needed. Bolt-on installation - everything fits right out of the box with no cutting or welding needed. Features Eaton Gen VI R900 TVS rotor assembly; the same high-quality rotors used by many OEM manufacturers. Self-contained oil system with 100,000 mile service interval (no drilling or plumbing required). Includes an EcuTek Pro ECU Programming Kit with Edelbrock tune. Our three Super Flow computerized engine dynos are capable of measuring 11 separate engine variables up to speeds of 12,000 rpm. For 2007, we added a new Super Flow SF902 engine dyno. It's fully automated and programmable to simulate various driving situations, and is equipped with WinDyn software for the very latest in testing equipment. For real-world tuning, there's our Super Flow model SF-840 eddy-current chassis dyno that can handle up to 1,000 hp at the wheels and speeds of 200 mph. When all testing is completed, the results evaluated, and the part has passed all performance criteria, then, and only then, is the product deemed ready for production. These precise testing procedures are applied to the entire Edelbrock line for performance that's guaranteed.
