The Factor 55 UltraHook is engineered to be the world’s safest winch hook with a closed system shackle mount hole machined into the body of the hook, safety latch retraction pocket, and even a safety latch locking pin. The UltraHook also features rubber pads that enable the hook to be pulled in tight to the fairlead without damaging or scratching either the hook or the fairlead. The UltraHook is constructed of precision CNC machined 7000 series military-grade aluminum for ultimate strength. The hook is rated for 16,000 lbs with a tested breaking point of 31,000 lbs while using the traditional throat hook opening and 48,000 lbs when using the integrated shackle mount. The integrated finger grip promotes the proper “Hook Up” orientation which greatly reduces the chance of injury should any part of the system fail.
