Designed to dramatically reduce air intake restriction as well as smooth and straighten airflow. This allows the Mavericks engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the factory air filter assembly. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout the engines RPM range. The air intake comes with a black rubber-topped K&N high-flow air filter within a black, K&N embossed air box that installs into the original air box space under the hood panel. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engines throttle body for a power gain. Intake tube is designed to accommodate the factory crank case vent hose. Easy to install using vehicles existing factory mounting points.
