Isn’t it great to see American pony cars on the sports car racing podium? It was another victorious weekend for Forgeline teams, at this past weekend's Pirelli World Challenge Grand Prix of Virginia! VOLT Racing’s #77 Ford Mustang GT4 and Blackdog Speed Shop’s #1 Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R both depend on Forgeline one piece forged monoblock GS1R wheels, and they both shared the podium for two days in a row at Virginia International Raceway. Trent Hindman and Alan Brynjolfsson earned their first win of the season in Saturday’s race, with their #77 Volt Racing Ford Mustang GT4. And then they followed up that successful effort again with a second place finish on Sunday. Finishing close behind them was the dynamic duo of Lawson Aschenbach and Andy Pilgrim, who drove their #1 Blackdog Speed Shop Chevrolet Camaro GT4.R to a third place finish on both days.
