Stock intercoolers have sharp bends and corners. As air flows around these corners, dead air zones are created. These dead air zones choke down the air and restrict airflow across the heat exchanger resulting in power robbing core heat soak. Our MDV technology uses Multi Directional Vanes to form multiple air paths through the intercooler end tanks. These new paths are smoother, producing much smaller dead air zones for increased overall airflow across the heat exchanger, this eliminates power robbing core heat soak.
